Overview
The FTR7000 series is a regenerative programmable DC electronic load. It not only functions as a traditional dissipative load but also efficiently recovers the energy consumed back to the power grid to achieve energy savings. It is widely used in new energy equipment testing, Lithium-ion and fuel cell discharge testing, automated test systems (ATS), AC/DC and DC/DC unidirectional module testing, and burn-in processes. Equipped with comprehensive communication and programming interfaces, along with a high-definition color screen and multilingual menu interfaces, it provides an intuitive and user-friendly experience. It is a standard piece of equipment for industries such as power electronics, new energy, sensors, motor drives, and system integration.
Features
Energy Regeneration
The FTR7000 Series can recover energy from DC sources and feed it back cleanly to the internal grid. The recovered electricity can be directly used by internal electrical appliances, reducing heat generated from energy consumption, thus achieving both operation and energy savings.

High Current Slew Rate
The FTR7000H Series high-speed regenerative high-power programmable DC electronic load series features an extremely high current slew rate, with a maximum single-unit current slew rate of 30A/µs. In rapidly changing test scenarios, it can complete load switching instantaneously and accurately simulate current transients under real operating conditions. Whether for transient response testing of switching power supplies or fast load step evaluation of CPU core power supplies, it provides microsecond-level dynamic response, making test data more timely and accurate.

Sequence and Arbitrary Waveform Functions
The FTR7000 Series electronic load provides sequence test functions, supporting up to 20 test files, each with 100 steps. It supports load timing changes in multiple modes such as CC, CV, CR, CP, and also supports sequence editing functions like file linking. It can complete timing editing of up to 100 steps, with single-step time range: 0.1ms ~ 99999s.

Multiple Operating Modes
The FTR7000 Series has four basic operating modes: CC, CV, CR, CP, meeting a wide range of test requirements. It also features multiple combined operating modes: CV+CC, CR+CC, CP+CC. Users can set current limits based on their test requirements to avoid damaging test products due to overcurrent during testing. The CV+CC mode can be used to simulate battery charging characteristics for testing chargers, onboard chargers, and similar products. The CR+CC mode can be used for testing power supply voltage and current limits and accuracy.

Battery Testing
The FTR7000 Series electronic load has a battery test function. It provides three discharge modes: constant current, constant resistance, and constant power. Discharge cutoff conditions can be set: cutoff voltage, cutoff time, and cutoff capacity. Discharge stops when any one of these three conditions is met. During discharge, the discharge capacity and discharge time are recorded.
The FTR7000 Series performs battery internal resistance and capacity testing using the DC discharge method (DCR).

Sine Wave Dynamic Loading
The FTR7000 Series features sine wave current loading capability, applicable for impedance analysis testing of fuel cells.

Parallel Connection (Cascade)
The parallel function of The FTR7000 Series supports up to 10 units operating in parallel, extending the power range of the electronic load. In parallel mode, each load shares current autonomously, and slave units automatically copy the loading parameters of the master unit. Single units can also operate independently, allowing flexible power configuration.

Multiple Interfaces & Multiple Protocols
The The FTR7000 Series is equipped with various communication interfaces and supports both SCPI and Modbus protocols. Users can configure them via the menu as needed, making system integration more flexible.
